On June 26, Horning employees and their families gathered at Bally Cliff Farm for an afternoon of fun, food, and friendly competition at our annual Summer Bash.
The event brought together team members from across the company to enjoy a well-deserved day of connection. From lawn games and inflatables to delicious food and plenty of opportunities to catch up with colleagues, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Our Community Focus activity gave attendees the opportunity to give back by assembling personal care kits for Comfort Cases, which supports children entering the foster care system. Together, our employees and their families assembled 183 kits, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children in need.
Employees and their families also participated in DEI activities that recognized both Juneteenth and Pride Month, offering an opportunity to celebrate the diversity that strengthens our communities and our workplace.
One of the day's biggest highlights was our company-wide bingo game. Lucky winners took home themed prize baskets created by our property teams, whose creativity helped make the games even more exciting. Thank you to every property that contributed a basket.

The excitement continued with an employee favorite: the annual tug-of-war showdown between the Property teams and the Main Office. After a spirited battle filled with cheering and laughter, the Property teams claimed bragging rights with a well-earned victory over Main Office!
Events like the Summer Bash remind us that while we work in different offices and communities, we are all part of one Horning team. Whether we were volunteering, learning, laughing over a game of bingo, or cheering on teammates during tug-of-war, the day reflected the values that bring us together.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this year's Summer Bash a success. We appreciate the planning, creativity, and teamwork that went into creating a memorable day for our employees and their families.
