Juneteenth is a special day that marks the end of slavery in the United States. This year, our team celebrated and honored the holiday by visiting the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum (ACM), which examines, documents, and interprets the impact of historical and contemporary social issues on urban communities. In addition, the on-site communities took part in patronizing Black-owned restaurants located near our communities.
